The point of this deck is very obvious, at least the fellowship is. Draw like crazy, heal like crazy, blow the horn, make little twilight and annoy your opponent to the max. Gillian knows. The shadow is somewhat of an OddBall, but hey, that is what I like. It is all about the maneuver phase. With It wants to be found I will add burdens, with Gates of the Dead City that burden will add exertions and with enough burdens Enqeua will seal the deal. Ofcourse in Fellowshipblock people will bring Sam, Son of Hamfast to the table, which is a killer for this deck. As a little surprise I have packed the Balrog and a few toys. I draw like an idiot, so perhaps before site 5 I have both his toys, the Spear and his Sword. Nice, a 21 fierce damage +2 bastard that if he kills, adds burdens. Well, it can be ruined, but hey, got to give it a shot. I think in Expanded I can profite a lot more from certain cards, only imagine Bent on Discovery with the Enduring Nazguls....brrrrrr

Bwahaha. Bwahahahhaa.
I always did like Albert Dreary in FotR Block.
Also gotta love the Elrond/Ottar combo. :D
No Mr. T? No Coat of Mail? How you gonna survive the Balrog at 5 without a Coat of Mail on Boromir? Or at least some Balrog Fodder with Mr. T.
And if you're trying to choke, drop Frying Pan for Sting. Sting = sweetness. You can pack PATHS is you think you need some swarm protection, though I think that Greenleaf and the *cough*missing*cough* Gorn's Bow should work.
<3 the Enquea + Burden combo. It pwns. Ooohhhh....Helpless. Usually worthless, but excellent meta-call in this situation. Don't want Sam peeling burdens left and right...although it COULD enable you to shotgun him. I've never been a fan of hit-or-miss cards, but this one might actually be worth packing. However, Relentless Charge isn't one worth packing 2 of, IMO, run 1 copy and then 1x They Will Find the Ring to finish 3 comps with Enquea.
You're trying to pull off a 2 card combo at site 5? Meh. Usually I'd drop it, but with the cycling on both sides, I think it *might* work.

I used Thrarin, Dwarven Smith against the Balrog the other day. Didn't mind losing him to save one of my 3 companions.
I can only dream of having a deck like that with all those rares in it. It's fun to see the strategy though
