The Heat or Mavs? Well since the Bulls blew a 76-64 lead to lose 83-80 the Heat is in. #-o Well I hope the Mavs sweep them but I'm goin for 6 games as my predition. Mavs win it all.
-
Nevah! Heat all the way, no way the team who beat my Lakers can take the title!

I'm a Lakers fan too, but I would much rather have the Mavs win. I despise Chris Bosh with a passion, and the Heat are just plain fun to root against.
I'm secretly hoping for Chris Paul to go to LA in some trade that doesn't involve Bynum, LO or Gasol leaving (pretty much impossible, but a guy can dream)
-
My best friend is a Laker fans too. I hate the Heat!!! Don't care for the Mavs but better then the Heat.
-
MIA all the way. I'm sticking with my prediction that the heat sweep the Mavs .
-
Go ManUnited!
-
Well, that was a downer....Barça won that with ease....I reckon the Heat will winn, though I must say that the Mavs are looking solid to me....

I'm still bitter, but I will never root for LeBrick as long as...well, ever lol. Still rooting for the Lakers :) Just gotta keep rooting till 2012 sigh
-
Well, normally you'd say that one player can't beat three (Dirk vs LeBron/Wade/Bosh) buuuuuuuuuut, we've been saying that since the Mavs/Lakers series started and he's beaten both the Los Angelas and Oklahoma city single-handedly so...
Heat get all the calls, Miami in 6
-
It's not gonna last 6 games. I stick with the Heat sweeping, but worst case the Mavs MIGHT win 1 at home .
-
Boring.
That is all I can say about the matter.
-
I'm not judging skills or anything, but I just realized yesterday how much or a moron Chris Bosh loorks like, and fin it deeply disturbing. I still like LeBron a lot, and sincerely think he's one of the most complete athletes playing the game (or ANY game) right now, but can't actually root for a team with Bosh in without hating myself for it. Of course, as a Lakers fan, I have to hate BOTH Mike Bibby AND Peja Stojakovic, more than anyone else, and the Mavs DID beat my team, so, I guess I'll suck it up and GO HEAT.
-

Indeed. The only sport I only follow is pro football... Look's like I'm not going to be watching much sports this year. ](*,) Stupid lockout.

I predict the lockout will be over 3 weeks before the season starts. Have no fear the NFL will have a season this year .
PS. Go D-O-L-P-H-I-N-S, screw the Patriots, Giants, Jets, Steelers, and Colts. I would say screw the Bills but they couldn't beat themselves out of a wet paper bag so I don't have to say it they provide it for me every single sunday during the NFL season.

Seriously? "GO Dolphins"? Are we talking about the same sport? ;)
LOL, just kidding, my wife also likes the Dolphins (what can you say? dolphin with a football helmet? she fell in love).

Well I grew up about 30 miles north of Miami, before I got relocated to where I currently reside. I love my sports and can't make myself pull for the area teams around here.
-
My boredom stems more from the fact that no one really believes the Mavs will win.
Plus I HATE watching live basketball, way too many foul calls.
-
I hope the Rams will win the devision(if there's football)and with Bradford throwing like he did last year I say chances are high wth the Cards and Seahwaks not having a QB yet. But if the Lockout stays I will have to watch College football this year.
-
#$&*@! it Dirk, #$&*@! you and your left hand. Now I'm just another false prophet, LOL.
-
Wow that is shocking that they won :o I thought it was over when I checked the score last night.
-
Well, it was an interesting game. Dallas won, but truth be told, Miami has only themselves to blame, they got ahead witha few good shots, and from there, winning seemed academic, so they started playing sloppily. Miami has to realize that they do not have a seasoned all-star to MAKE winning "academic", whereas the Mavs do (it's the ONLY great player the Mavs have right now, though...), and it showed yesterday.
It does not quite mean the Mavs have a fighting chance, only that the Heat has to play carefully till the very end, or they WILL take unexpected hits. Also, it has to be factored in that the series is now moving to Dallas, and the Heat just got dreamcrushed in their own city, which could have a negative effect on them (and it WILL have a positive one on Dallas). I do not expect it to have a negative effect for 3 whole games, but if the Mavs can shake them in the first game, then they're up 2-1 and things change all around. If they DO manage to go 3-1 then, the Heat is pretty much doomed, they won't have the guts to come back and win without home turf advantage. As I said, though, I do not expect that to happen. But I do expect, though, for the series to move back to Miami, which means at least 6 games, unless the Heat miraculously manage to shrug off the huge blow they took and get back on top of their game.

Mavs will win this! Los geht's, Dirk! Weiter so! :)
-
game 3 winners are 11-0 in the finals when after game 2 the teams were tied 1-1.
-
Well it's time for 11-1 now.
-
Well my 6 game prediction is still alive. Just 2 more wins Dallas. Come on!!!
-
NOW I think Dallas is a legit contender. Don't get mw wrong, I'm still not seeing them winning the whole thing, but they finally stabilished their place on the match-up: resilient. Dallas is the resilient side, while Miami is the explosive side. If Dallas CAN keep up being resilient, they stand a shot. If they try to switch roles boosted by the last win and blast out of the gates to close home turf advantage on the green, they'll just fold. Explosive is either BIZARRELY explosive, or it just runs out of gas, which is what I saw yesterday. Miami simply did not have game, with LeBron folding early and resigning to support-role only, while Dallas kept on piling baskets. They took a blow, got behind by 9 points, and kept on piling. 2-pointer on 2-pointer. Free throws. No shenanigans, no desperate 3-point tries (some, but close to none considering what would be expected), just piling. And it payed. I was actually rooting for Dallas ever since game 1, since I want the series to go long, although I still think LeBron has what it takes to be the next title shark. However, while not winning this time might be a huge blow for this prospect, I'm starting to think it'd be nice for Nowitzki to have a ring before retiring. #$&*@! of a player. Never appreciated him enough.
-
My prediction was right. :) I am awesome! lol
-
Congrats Dallas
-
I'm mesmerized. Happy for Nowitzki and Kidd (specially), a little happy for Peja Stojakovic (always drafted him in NBA Live's older versions to rain #$&*@! from beyond the arch) and most of all happy that Chris Bosh and his moronic facade did not win a title. Seriously, what's wrong with that guy? Anyway, #$&*@! of a Finals, it's been a while since I saw one this great. As the motto goes, "Where Amazing Happens", indeed.
-
Well it's time for 11-1 now.
Good call ;)
Now I really hope there is no lockout, just to see how miami handles free agency.
-
So stoked that Dirk finally got one; he definitely earned it after a whole decade of doing work. As for Miami, I don't think anyone wants to help the "king" win a ring at this point, but who knows. I'm still saying Dwight to LA! Dwight to LA!
