Title: LotROTCG Offline Client
Post by: JtheMonk on May 30, 2011, 06:56:41 AM
I was messaged about this again, so I'll post it here in a new topic. It's good for as long as the download link lasts (I think it's a month or so).

Here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ER8WFBZ8

Instructions:

1 - Unrar (http://www.rarlabs.com/)

2 - Run the LotROTCG.exe under the LotROTCG folder.

If you only play offline, this is the absolute best way to organize your collection and make decks, as it has all the art, many card-sorting options while deck-building, and you can import your collection into the deck editor, so you're not trying to build a deck with cards you don't have.

If you're playing online with GCCG, it's probably not the best way to organize your collection and make decks; although I remember with LackeyCCG (I think), you could print the decklist from the LotROTCG client, copy and paste it into a wordpad file, and then save that file as whatever file type decks were. I have no idea if that would work with GCCG or not.

Good luck.

I love this program!

I have always used it for deckbuilding to help me make my physical decks.

Awesome, just installed it and brings back memories :) definitely the best deck builder and collection manager out there!

More gold for you, my friend, for making it available!

I'm glad people are getting some use out of it.

If anyone happens to want to use the decks from LOTROTCG for Lackey (since the plugin exists again now), print to a text source (like OneNote or PDF), and then remove the collector's numbers and replace them with the number of copies of the card in the deck and remove the number of copies from the end. In the text file you're making, you put your sites first with no header, then "Sites:", and then "Starting:". Which is time consuming, but not too bad if you're constantly using new decks.

You should beware that some of the newest card in it have some mistake like giving plus 1 str instead of +1 resist.

I don't have too many cards beyond Bloodlines, so I've never noticed.

Can you give any specific examples?

It probably matters less now that you can't use it to play on-line anymore, but that is something to keep in mind.
