Title: Classic decks
Post by: Steverogers on June 06, 2011, 11:40:22 AM
I've seen people mention decks that I can't find lists for. The horn of Boromir deck, shotgun nazgul and others. Is there a thread where these are?

when decks have a basic mechanic they are built around we usually just give it a name for simplicity. however, this doesn't mean that every one is the same. one ithilien blade deck could be drastically different from the next etc... but we just call a them by a generic name so we know the general mechanics of what we're talking about. if you are curious about a specific deck, use the search to find a post about what you are looking for.

hope this helps.

I am also not up to speed at all on the names of these "classic" decks so if someone wanted to take the time out to make a list of them with a short description I'd appreciate that alot. Understand fully if noone wants to waste time on it though:-) Could make a nice sticky post for this forum?

Leokula started working on a project that outlined some of the more popular deck types : http://lotrtcgdb.com/forums/index.php/topic,1606.0.html
