Title: LOTR TCG at Gen Con Indy?
Post by: Treebeard13 on June 26, 2011, 02:03:04 PM
According to Wikipedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lord_of_the_Rings_Trading_Card_Game, there was an unofficial Lord of the Rings World Championship last year.  Won by Brian Fred.  Does anyone know if there will be one this year?  If so what format will be used?  What day(s) will it be held?  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated and possibly another step to getting some mometum going.

It wasn't at GenCon last year, it was at SWCCG worlds.  I planned it last year, but I'm not able to go to SWCCG worlds this year and none of the other SW players who play LOTR have started planning anything yet.  There is probably some interest, but I don't know how much.

It was Man/Elf with Southron Archery.  It was posted in the Movie Block decklist forum (the tournament was Movie Block with Galadriel LR banned) the week after the tournament.
