Title: Simple question
Post by: theoldwizard on July 09, 2011, 04:39:08 PM
If I had multiple copies of Great Siege Towers in play when I play a besieger, do I place a token on each copy of Great Siege Towers, or do I choose which one to place the token on?

You put one on token on each one.
No you don't. You choose 1 copy to put 1 token on.

This is the difference between the two abilities:

"Shadow: Play a besieger to add a [Sauron] token here."

"Each time you play a besieger, you may add a [Sauron] token here."

In the second case, each copy of Great Siege Towers triggers and you get to put a token on each one.

In the first case, you can't combine special abilities and it's worded like a Shadow special ability (because it begins with "Shadow:") so you only get to put 1 token on 1 copy.
