So i looked at the shadow era link. Does anyone play this game? is it any good. It looks fun, but i don't want to waste computer space on a game that isn't worth it. Any players want to defend it?
-
It is FANTASTIC! Since discovering it in April, I must have spent about 100 hours playing matches and about 100+ hours on the forums.
It's nothing like LOTROTCG, but it is a whole lot like Magic and WoW, except it is a fraction of the cost.
You can play on web browser, so you don't actually need to give up any of your harddrive.

The mechanics are fully WoW

So I hear. I've not played WoW myself though. I'd probably enjoy it, based on my love of Shadow Era. The cost would put me off though. For Shadow Era, I can use spare mobile phone credit to get boosters and starters. It's really cheap and there is never a shortage of someone to play.
-
So there is an actual physical money cost associated with it?
-
It does if you want to, it's entirely possible (though tiresome) to play without spending a single "actual" dollar, just clicking some facebook ads and taking some polls and stuff, or even just grinding out. Their about to update the AI system, as well, so grinding becomes a bit more fun, hopefully.
-
grinding? do you win a card every time you play a game or something?
-
You win gold, which you can use to buy singles.
-
I was madly addicted for the first few days haha. It's fun and cheap, and games are relatively quick. I recommend!

BUMP! Special offer now. You get physical cards to the same value as the shadow crystals you buy.

The pre-order bonuses are amazing, especially since you get them for just buying a starter deck.

Hi, Sabrien! When I saw this thread's title, I wondered if I might find you here... :)
Hope you're well, mate.
Your friend,
