Dessert stalker and Southron veterans aren't going to work, replace them with mumak or more red wrath.

Southron Veterans are fine, but if you're going for crowd-control then you're better off replacing them with Shotgun Enquea. And Arcanite is right, Desert Stalker is a waste of space. Put in another Red Wrath instead.

I always prefered seasoned leader instead of whirling strike. It can have the same result if played on a bowman or desert lord, but gives enduring to the minion. I would add 2 seasoned leader and 1 red wrath and remove all 3 whirling strike.

imho Veterans is a better crowd control than enquea, you dish out 4 for only 2 as opposed to enquea's 3 for 3, and I have enough archery/wounding that the last one won't be hard. Yeah, I'll try it with seasoned leader, the only concern is that since I have to play that in the shadow phase, there's not a ton of extra twilight since my average cost for a minion is about 4, and the whirling strikes can be played after I get all the ambush twilight in the assignment phase.
