Would folks be interested in a play-by-forum game? I'm thinking either Shadows over Camelot or BSG. I've never done it before, but I'd be open to learning to moderate.
Edit: change title to reflect more firm direction
Sign-Ups begin now!

Both are great games! I would vote for BSG. In fact I think you are a cylon. :suspect:

That's exactly what a cylon would say. Baltar, test this man immediately!

Toaster alert!!!
I am interested in a PBF, but for more games even. There are so much great games.

I'll be open to that, but (for now) I'd like to get one going and people (including me) familiar with PBF before trying other games.

There is a open source board game software called Vassal. Check it out. I used it to play Star Wars Epic Duels

Okay, I have a handle on vassal now. I'll start out with a game of BSG. I'll start a new thread when we're ready to begin the game, but this thread will serve as the sign-up.
Expectations if you sign up:
-Check the board about once a day (or more). We understand that life comes up occasionally, but in general, this keeps the game moving
-be a good sport! play the game like we were all sitting around a table. This means that joking is fine, but bullying/personal attacks are not. Also, follow the game rules
-You're welcome to download vassal if you want, but you don't have to
-Having played the game before/knowing the rules is helpful, but not required
-For an idea of how this works, see http://starwarsccg.org/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=55&jfile=viewtopic.php&f=628&t=44275
Post below if you're in!

Why not. Toaster time, I'm in.

I haven't played the game in almost a year, and never online, but I am in.

How do these play-by-forums work? I'd love to join, but wouldn't it be a nightmare to coordinate? Playing a kind of psychological thriller like BSG over the Internet could make the session lose some of its drama, no?
-
Hey, sorry I dropped the ball on this.
Mythdracon, coordination is a bit of work, but you can see an example of how play by forum works here: http://starwarsccg.org/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=55&jfile=viewtopic.php&f=693&t=44275
I encourage you to give it a try. I'll start the character selection process when I hear back from you.
