Post by: swarmingUwithGoblins on September 12, 2008, 11:05:56 PM
Hey guys is decipher still producing cards? I go to there website and everytime i try to click on anything a virus pops up or you have to be a fan to see the forums. I would join since its only .99 to be a fan on there but i dont feel safe putting my info on that site. Anyone have any info on this site or the company?

Uhhh... what?

Decipher is not out of business. They're in preparations to launch a new game called Fight Klub TCG (not affiliated with Fight Club, the movie). They'll be launching their new website eventually, but they've already got thousands of people signed up to help "lead" the game into the mainstream.

Pardon my asking... but where have you been!?

Decipher is no longer producing LotR cards.  :( They are only doing Fight Klub now.

Do you mean fanhq, or fightklub? Haven't had malware trouble with either of the sites, although Google does have a warning for DGMA. The fanhq site is pretty much just an archive now; the forums there are down, too.

Except for forum registration, I'd be very reluctant to give Decipher my personal information. (It was a barrel of laughs when their fightklub teaser page was asking for my email address, with no indication of how it'd be used.) Also from what I've heard shipment from the Decipher store is an on-and-off thing, if it's even still open.

Elessar, could you link me to the fanhq and DGMA site? I don't know what the sites are! Thanks!

Oh no, anything but that. The Hobbit TCG simply has to be made, and by Big D as well. :(

LotR TCG FanHQ (http://web.archive.org/web/*/lotrtcg.fanhq.com) (main site for the game)
DGMA (http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.dgma.com)

Note that it takes some trial and error getting to where you want to go.
