So, I thought I'd turn to my fellow forumers for a bit of help. My wife was talking to me about the religious meaning or Easter, and all (I know the meaning, but she was telling me the details and such), and, since Jesus was flayed on a friday and rose again on the third day, shouldn't Easter be on a monday? I'm pretty sure there's an explanation here, but she simply did not know it, so if anyone could tell me, I'd appreciate it.

Friday counts as first day. The Resurrection happened on third day, not after three days, so it's Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

for what its worth, hsiale is correct.

Ah, that explains a lot. Thanks, guys, :gp:!
