Title: Doom address
Post by: nemesis on April 15, 2012, 10:54:22 AM
Hi
First I am sorry to ask this here, but I do not know where to ask.
Do any of you know the address of “Doom”, if you do can you PM it to me.
I paid for some cards a month ago ($120) and nothing happened since…
Thank you,

Sebastien

I hope that you actually get the cards, but ya never know sometimes. I was asked by Doom if I wanted to buy some cards and he/she mentioned some of the top or most expensive cards to get from ROS and T&D. I kinda got a red flag from that and told them I didn't really have the funds, which I didn't.

If you used PayPal you can file with them about not receiving goods and they might return your cash and charge the account that they have with Doom for a refund. Hope that you get one or the other back though.

Paypal doesnt sue anyone by a private transaction. Its your own risk in such cases, you only get buyer protection by purchasing over official websites. Anything else, you do on your own risk.

Ahhh cool thanks for that info! I wonder if they can give him the address of registered client. If it is someone doing it to a number of people they might give that info after a few complaints.

Wrong.  If you agreed to pay for items over the internet and they weren't sent, then wire-fraud was committed.  Paypal doesn't want to be an accessory to wire fraud (it could literally put them out of business in the US), so they have a claims process for items bought over paypal.

There's some information here: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/gen/buyer-complaint-outside

Note: if you said on paypal that you were sending a gift, they might not believe that you were actually buying something.

Hey all, I'm Doom's bro. I'm so sorry for what happened nemesis, but he never sold anyone cards for $120 or anywhere near that. What card(s) was supposed to be sold to you? We've traded a lot, but the only card we've actually sold is Ranger's Longbow, and that was for around $30. His account seems to be hacked as he can't login. He's hoping that the mods can restore his password so he can get back on and resolve this...

So you are doom brother, so you can give me your brother address, or should I use yours to give to my lawyer.

He sold me a few cards back on March 25th, but it was only $10 so it isn't like I'm out a whole lot even if it never goes through, but I have yet to see my cards either for what its worth.

Sorry for the late response, I was in vacation :)
First he told me that I will get the cards, but at the end I get back money, no cards :(

Same here...he just sent cash back in the mail (really dumb idea)...I considered being a jerk and escalating the PayPal dispute to a claim, since he would have no way of proving he refunded my money...but I decided against it in the end.
