So, obviously in expanded there are some ridiculous starting fellowships available, and I was considering building a deck to abuse this, using tentacle swarm on the Shadow side.
My basic idea is:
Boromir, Bearer of Council
Ring of Rings
Faramir, Captain of Gondor
Mablung, Soldier of Gondor
Aragorn, Strider
Madril, Defender of Osgiliath
Gondorian Prowler x4
Ranger's Bow x4
Citadel of the Stars
Stone Tower
Garrison of Osgiliath
Heirs of Gondor (obviously the Faithful Stone would go well here, but I don't have any)
Faramir's Sword
Defenses Long Held x3
Shield of the White Tree x3 (since the FP side is there to just be really annoying).
Pathfinder x4
Any suggestions as to what I could add/change about this deck?
Thanks,
Anvar

Starting Fellowship is illegal. You can't spot an Unbound Companion. Us more Prowlers and a Madril.

Aha! New there was a problem there somewhere. Ok, I'll have to rethink this one slightly.
EDIT: Ok, now with Madril and 4 Prowlers the starting fellowship is legal again. Any comments? Obviously, one can go IB but that's a little boring and easy.

Ya, well if you don't run IB, then you're pretty much toast as soon as you take a Greed, Enquea or Cantea to the face, seriously.
I prefer Denethor over Mablung. Lets you nab cards faster. And possibly Boromir, Proud and Noble Man via The Prancing Pony.

His ringbearer is Boromir. You can't have two Boromirs in play.

Isildur RB, perhaps?

I playtested this deck against Centurion's [men] archery and it pretty much died. Mablung got knocked off pretty early
by a combination of archery and Mouth of Sauron's possession grabbing. I hate Howdah and Pavise. >:(
Anyway, they all got exhausted and then Centurion played two copies Caravan from the South and my fellowship all died one by one. ](*,)

Ouch. Yeah, archery would kill it bad. But hey, can't take everything, can it? At least it'll crunch Uruks. :D
