I'm overhauling my entire card collection. I'll soon be removing the 7 or 8 binders-worth of cards and sorting them into boxes. While I do this, I'll be conducting a complete inventory of my stock. Estimates hover somewhere around 20,000 cards. Dear god in heaven.

Sweet!!! After that you will need to create a tradelist!

Good luck! I have around 20k cards too. I never did finish cataloging all those cards, even I told so many I would eventually get around to it. Life has a way of draining time. :(

If you have an extra Simbelmyne (foil), shoot me a PM; I'd like to finish that deck if I had the chance.

!Final count: 23,856 cards. :o
Edit: Just did math. The collection weighs 95 and a half pounds.

My collection is similar in size. Took me months to sort everything out and get it organized....

Hmm...based on the 800ct boxes I keep them in I must have roughly 5000 extra cards, not to mention the three 4" three-ring binders that have the up to four copies of Movie Block in my collection...assuming an average of 2.5 copies of each card (reasonable, considering I have close to a complete playset of Fellowship Block with barely a complete set of King Block and Tower somewhere in the middle) that puts me at about 4500 cards in my "main" collection, leading to a total of nearly 10,000 all told.
That's kind of neat, actually. Finally catching up with boyhood dreams of having every card...not that I care about Shadows or beyond.

If you pack your boxes well, you can usually fit quite a lot more than the quoted limit. And you're right, it is satisfying to have all these cards when, as a child, I had to fight for each and every card.
