Title: May not take wounds?
Post by: neopium on July 20, 2012, 03:02:45 AM
Hi everyone,

I have a question about King's mail (http://lotrtcgwiki.com/wiki/lotr04284) and other cards like this that state that a companion or minion may not take wounds.

What happens during the archery phase?
Does the free people player has to put the wounds on other characters or can it put all archery fire on Theoden, thus cancelling the wound effect?

Kind regards,

Ben

He has to put wounds on other companions. To cancel the wounds effect, it would have to say "prevent all wounds to him" (which would be way too powerful during archery phase and AFAIK no card allows this, several cards allow this during a skirmish (Gimli's Helm, Faramir, WP)).

In fact, there is a few cards that prevent all wounds, that can do that during Archery. All of them (2) listed below:
- High Vantage
- Berserk Butcher
