Just wondering if Pippin, Steadfast companion can spot Banner of the White Tree and Nine fingered frodo and the ring of doom for his strength bonuses. Thanks!  :)

Pippin, Steadfast Friend needs to spot tales, and even though both cards are tales, they are events, meaning they don't exist in game at any given time, they are either in a discard pile, removed from the game, in a player's hand or in the void (when you play them and they are waiting to resolve), so there is no place where Pippin can spot them.
