1) Some of the LotR cards that seem like they should me more powerful (due to iconic scenes from the books/movies) arent'? For instance, Down from the Hills, or You Shall Not Pass.
2) I often find myself pondering how on earth certian cards would actually be played out logically between characters. For example, when Pippin WoBaS is returned to hand to wound a minion twice, would he be stabbing the minion in the back twice and then running away? Or why A Promise only works when neither Sam nor Frodo are exhausted. Does this mean when sam or frodo is tired he is less committed to the quest?
I would like to say I am a huge LotR TCG fan (one of the prerequisites to marrying my wife was that she learn to play) and an even bigger LotR fan, so this is i no way a slam to the game. I'm just wondering if I'm the only one thinking about this.

Well, I'll say that I find this way more curious than the cases that you described.

hah there was some sarcasm in that, but I did teach her how to play and she actually loves the games. :)

On the completely opposite spectrum, I do love the synergy between Merry's Sword and Eowyn's Sword from ROTK. I just love the concept of Merry weakening the Witch-king and Eowyn finishing him off with a sword strike.

Very true, and that Eowyn Derhnhelm owns mounted/firece mininos (A.K.A. The Witchking).

That owning is debatable, as even with sword she is 13 vs the witch king... needs some pumps still.

When ROTK block came out I found it strange that well made corsair decks could destroy Gondor Wraith decks when the movie was the other way around.
The game is still a lot of fun regardless of these funny things.

Well, at least they tried to be game text accurate.

True, I was always dissapointed in how weak Decipher made the gondor wraiths.
