Title: Dwarf-Mordor Wounding. Help needed.
Post by: Odin on October 12, 2012, 11:24:49 AM
I'm trying to make a 5 companion dwarf beat-down deck (splashing Sam for burden removal). I am pretty new at dwarves. Would appreciate help regarding what works with mordor wounding. Main strategy; recycle skirmish events using Grimir and Dark Ways. Gimlis Battle Axe, Trusted Weapon benefits from Dark Ways, and Dark Ways in turn encourages the use of Delving. Have problems with swarm, all Shire cards there to counter this. Open to major changes including adding/removing companions and/or of different cultures, however dwraves+mordor wounding shall remain the theme!

Meta: Moria swarm, Southern Wounding, Easterling burden adding

Free Peoples (38)

Frodo, Old Bilbo’s Heir
The One Ring, ATAR

I find Sauron grind not too good in meta. Too much condition removal.

If you dont need the protection Gimli gives (which seems it doesnt, Gimli RB, Linnar, Durin is a much better start. Also on this one, try to keep it a little slimmer.

Add 2x Blood Runs Chill for your FP. Also add Lord of Moria to make BRC more effective. Greatest Kingdom of My People could also be helpful if Moria swarm is really popular. You can get rid of Grimir, Dark Ways and the Delvings to make room for them.

Alright, what about Sindri, should I replace him with another companion seeing as his gametext is of little use?

Sindri is fine; Linnar, Durin and Gimli are your main fighters, but Sindri can just be a meat shield if you don't want one of the others to get wounded.
