so basically i haven't decided how i'm going to see the film yet. curious to hear y'all's thoughts. you can select 11, so select all which apply...
-
I'm just going to my favorite local theatre (Valley River Center in Eugene Oregon), so I'll see whatever version they're showing there. I won't pay extra for IMAX, though. I just want to see the normal version.
-
I'll watch whatever they're screening here, don't think we'll get a 48fps version.
-
at this point i'm leaning toward 48fps 3-D. there are a few theaters near me screening it that way, and i am going to trust PJ and try to see it the way it was filmed. 48fps, 3-D. my mind might change, but at this point, thats how i'm leaning.

I have an unrelated question: How did you add a poll to this thread? I've very much been wanting to run some polls in Valinor, but I don't see the option to do that. How is it done?
-
instead of clicking "post new topic" look beside it to click "post new poll" hope this helps.

Thanks!

no problem!

it seems like things are pretty split between 24fps and 48 fps. interesting... currently i am leaning towards 48fps. i feel like since i won't be able to see it that way once it is out of theaters, i might as well carpe diem. haven't made my final decision yet though...
-
I am the going to see it the 16th. Going with the 24fps one though. Can't wait'

I certainly don't blame folks for wanting to view it the first time in 24FPS, since 48FPS 3D is new and takes a little getting used to, but I highly recommend a second viewing in the latter format! Strictly for the visuals... it's pretty stunning.
