Title: Virtual Expanstions
Post by: Farinherfer on December 06, 2012, 05:48:38 PM
Does anyone know is there are Virtual expansions/ interested in making some?  I would lose to start up something like what Star Wars and Star Trek have where they have printable expansions for the games.

This has been discussed many, many times in the forums. The quorum is split 50/50. There are those who would like to do it. Those who think it is a terrible idea. Do any V cards exist? Not really. There are some 2E things in the works and a few folks who post ideas once in a while, but thats it.

Virtual expansions and printable expansions are two very different things.

As far as I remember, there has been some attempts with GCCG, including a DC set from Thranduil and also the "committee" who tried to create new cards. However, it didn't go very far.

Perhaps one day it will be possible to play with DCs on GEMP...

At the moment Decipher is against it.
