Title: Telepathy without forearmed
Post by: Jhamel on January 07, 2013, 06:32:45 AM
So I've been running an idea through my head and I wanted to get some feedback.

The combo uses still needed, bow of the galadrhim on legolas greenleaf, Elrond venerable lord, and banner of elbereth and asfaloth on Arwen queen of elves and men. Archery use greenleaf to wound 2 minions. Assign minions so that arwen will win and assign so that legolas and elrond will having a fighting chance. Start with legolas first and play still needed to heal him with the bow and place still needed on the deck. Next skirmish with Elrond and since the top card is still needed he will heal legolas again. Lastly arwen skirmishes and if she wins you draw the still needed with the banner. Rinse and repeat. Obviously I will have bows and swords and other cards to give the deck depth, but the heart of the deck is here with this combo. C&C welcome!

Add Glimpse of Faith to make it even better.

I'd still use Gwemegil on Arwen for the damage bonus, but nice idea. Also I'd double Glimpse of Fate. You could also use Celeborn, Lord of the Galadhrim to finish of some fatty weakened by Greenleaf and draw back a Still Needed.
