Title: 2 Questions: Éowyn, LOI and Defender Ability.
Post by: deviljulio on April 30, 2013, 06:22:50 PM
First question:

If a wounded minion with resistence 2 is in a skirmish with Éowyn, LOI, can I exert her twice (To make the shadow player place a total of 3 wounds)?

Second Question:

I just wanted that you guys clarified the defender ability. Are there 2 assignements? Is it considered to be 1 skirmish or 2? For exemple, if Aragorn (STR 8) skirmishes 2 Orcs with STR 4 each, who wins?

Thanks guys!

1) you may use Eowyn's ability as many times as you can exert her.

2) Aragorn fights both Orcs at the same time, and you combine their strengths for a total of 8.

thank you very much for the reply dude!!

just confirming:

if in the first time that Eowyn's ability is activated, the minon skirmishing her dies (as a result of the ability).. is it still possible to exert her again, to make the total wounds stack?

No. Once that minion is killed, Eowyn's skirmish ends immediately.

Just so we are absolutely clear, in your scenario, there is one minion skirmishing Eowyn with a single wound on him, right? So when you activate Eowyn's text, the Shadow player has to place 1 wound wherever he likes. If he ends up wounding Eowyn's minion, that means the next time you activate Eowyn's text, the Shadow player will then have to place 2 wounds.
