Title: Merry, Friend to Sam

Just a quick question about Merry, Friend to Sam.

Suppose I have Merry and Legolas both assigned to two minions.

Merry's skirmish is resolved. He won (or not, it does not matter). Now comes the time of Legolas skirmish.

Can I use Merry's special ability? He WAS assigned for sure, but the skirmish is over, is he still considered as assigned?

Once his skirmish is finished, he is no longer assigned.
