Title: Players in Georgia (or the south)
Post by: ghhhk on May 29, 2013, 02:33:05 PM
Hi-is there anyone down here still playing with actual cards?  I'd love to get a tournament together sometime.  Between myself and 2 teenage sons we have a start.  A few more players and we could do an actual tourney.

Let me know!!!

I'm in North Carolina, but still pretty far from you I think.

Man, I gotta get back to NC... We had a pretty awesome tourny scene in the Raleigh and Cary area during the hay day of the game. I'm currently near Baton Rouge, LA for the time being. Perhaps if employment opportunities line up right, I'll find myself in the Triangle area again soon.

I live in Athens Georgia, but I don't have physical cards any more.
Wait! I have a Two Towers Draft Set for 8. So we could have a draft event.

I still play - I have close to 900+ cards or so. I'm from Augusta GA but I go to school right outside of Chattanooga TN (still in GA though). I have 3 friends from college (2 from GA, 1 from Maryland) that also play, and I just recently got my girlfriend to try playing too (she likes it too! who would've guessed...). I've been trying to find more people though. Maybe we could find a way/place to meet up and play sometime. We usually play with whatever cards we have, primarily from 1-7, but we do tend to stay away from anything after about 9-10 or so. Let me know if you might be interested. Glad I stumbled upon this! :D

I live in John's Creek and still have most of my old cards (thousand upon thousands).  I know a few others who might be interested.  Best way to get in touch with me is Facebook.  My name is Phillip Gladney so locate me there and maybe we can set something up (I rarely come here and was just on to get the URL for a friend who might want to play online...happened to see the subject line oddly enough too).
