While I found it somewhat less than ideal screensize wise, and doing the touchscreen thing instead of a pointing device, dredlox and I successfully had a game with NO timeouts or other issues that I have had with a smartphone. This was using the out-of-the-box browser they supply.
Just wanted to pass that one, in case you need to get yer fix on vacation or what-not :)

It works perfectly on the iPad too. But you're right, smartphones are too clunky to use Gemp effectively.

Last time I tried a Kindle, the problem I ran into was that swipe-up did not work (there was no way to blow-up cards to see what they say). But swipe-up worked for you?

You don't need that feature for a pad... you can stretch/shrink a screen.... right?
I mean, that's what I did :)

Swipe-up works on the iPad too. But yeah, zooming in works just as well. The only time you can't do that is when you need to see a card that's attached to another.

Bingo, and that was the problem I'd run into. Possessions and conditions played on things, and I couldn't see what it was they do.

I did a little research and it looks like this will be a problem. I guess the best fix is to scroll the chat and click on the card when it was played. But then your opponent might get impatient...
