Title: A grey ship
Post by: jdizzy001 on July 25, 2013, 11:43:21 AM
A Grey Ship looks to be a sweet card. However, I am a bit confused. The last sentence reads you can not use special abilities. If I play double shot and a few other cards to boost my freep archery total BEFORE I play A Grey Ship, how does that work? Lets pretend I have legolas, gorn w/bow and faramir w/bow all in play. I burn up some gondor bowmen and a double shot. My pool is a 6 now. I then play A Grey Ship, X can = up to 6 correct? Or does the last sentence of A Grey Ship indicate that I can not adjust the archery pool at all?

Seems to me that you just can't use Archery special abilities AFTER you've played A Grey Ship.

The idea is to prevent tricks like Greenleaf when the Archery is already 0.

That much I gathered, there are just so many special abilities that boost archery total I didn't know if they were effected, provided I play them before I use AGS.

I agree
