As the title says. Does a game of LotR really have to last up to 160 minutes? This is almost as long as the LotR movie itself! I know it is casual, but giving 30 mins per player would result in the same games and fun most of the time. And when it does not, it should be a relief for the player that keeps staring the screen forever. Not to mention that things like triple queueing would be dramatically reduced.
In short, we do not need this:

I wouldn't mind making all games 40 minutes per side, as in leagues. Though I know real life games in the expanded era were 60 minutes, or 30 per side, that leaves little room for misconnects and slow servers. Expanded is complex. I am not a slow player, yet I have played games where I've used 25-28 minutes on my side. Having to restart my router would have ended the game - and often, the most complex ones are the most interesting.

I think 40 minutes is too fast for a casual game. It would also make playing next to impossible for people with slow connections, or people playing on mobile devices. I could maybe see bringing it down from 80 to 70, but 40 is to little time IMO. I want to relax during casual games, and I am not relaxed when playing at tournament times.
