Title: Knight's Mount (8c40)
Post by: nameuse1 on November 09, 2013, 06:47:16 PM
8C40, Knight's Mount:
1)Aragorn skirmished a minion, the minion wins the skirmish and Aragorn takes a wound
2) Boromir skirmished a minion while bearing Knight's Mount (8c40), Boromir wins the skirmish

Can Boromir wound the minion that skirmished Aragorn? I have always played that he can. I am playing some people for the first time who disagree.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Yes, he can. In fact, that's the only minion you can wound in that situation. The one that Boromir just beat is still assigned, so the only unassigned minion the Knight's Mount can wound was the one that fought Aragorn.

What if Aragorn wins the skirmish? His opponent is assigned?

The minion that fights in the first skirmish is still assigned until a new skirmish begins.

Aragorn vs minion 1
Boromir vs minion 2

If Aragorn's skirmish is first, minion 1 will continue to be assigned until you begin Boromir's skirmish. It is impossible to use Knight's Mount to wound the same minion that it's bearer just beat.
