Title: Ancient Blade, endless defender?

If one of my companion has the ancient blade: http://lotrtcgwiki.com/wiki/lotr07015 all minions will fight against him/her? (my friend asks)

1) No. Only one minion can assign himself to the bearer of Ancient Blade. All assignment actions are 1-on-1, no exceptions.

2) No, only if you have exactly 4.

3) All actions which play a card will play it from hand unless it specifically says otherwise.
