You all have read my Sam solo deck qhich can be found some topics below yes?? No?? Go check it asap!! Lol kidding :) Ok, that deck focused primarly on allies to give sam resiastnce to use The Great Ring, then Home And Hearth to remove burdens etc That deck had many weaknessess(some sites auto-loss mainly). This deck tries to eliminitae those issuses by trying to give Sam as many possessions as possible and then pumping him up with Rohirrim Doorwarden. As some of these possessions are elvish I though to put Elond in there too in cas Glorfindel dies soon(also Vilya provides a type of condition removal which hobbits lack horribly). So at site 1 Gamling DotH brings out my only 2 followers and then basically I play everything. I try to be prepared against various types of decks(example 2x clever hobbits against gollum decks, mithril coat, dwarf-mail against fierce and damage+ guys, Old Noakes against discard decks etc) I could use Frodo Mr. Underhill instead of Sam but in this way I could rarely double move and Sting, weapon of heritage would not be effective. The only possessions I left out are Bill the Pony(one version gets discarded 2 easily the other 2 costy) and a pipe which has no use whatsovever. If I left anything elese out please help :). It might seem that Sam doesn't have enough resistance but with everything out he is res 12-13 and sting and golden perch ale help a lot!
The shadow side focuses mainly on an idea I ve been toying lately Shapes slowly advancing. If I play 2nd it's easier to work out(add one token and then Morannon Plains-nelya, third of the nine and then again). Moving this way helps to cycle through deck and prepare my Fp side. Tha Nazgul choice tries to face various deck types focusing on survival until regroup phase to be discarded..Any comments appreciated!
Rb: Sam, Bearer of Great Need
One Ring, the Great Ring
Adv Path: Buckland Homestead (great to get rid of namarie, token conditions etc)
Anduin Banks
Anduin River (0 twilight and helps against archery)
Morannon Plains ( key site to pull off shapes slowly advancing)
Cavern Entrance (Odd choice maybe but some times nazgul need it-might switch for Steward tomb)
Caras Galadhon( key site if opponent is first and double moves early)
Imladris
North Undeep(useful against enemy archery)
Trollshaw Forest(play this 1st if I go 1st or at 1st sanctuary)
Fp side: 1x Glorfindel, Revealed In Wrath(9 str elf can survive a while)
1x Gamling, Defender of the Hornburg
4x Elrond, Herald to Gil-Galad(provides healing and bears Vilya)
1x Old Noakes, purveyor of wisdoms( against discarding +1 res)
1x Rosie, Hobbiton Lass( +1 str, +1 res, +1 healing)
1x Elven Brooch(helps if opponents tries to discard sting f.e)
1x elven cloak(-1 archery not bad)
1x Elven Rope(useful against gollum decks!)
2x phial of galadriel (+2 resis)
1x erkenbrand's horn(come here my 2 followers!)
4x brace of coneys
1x golden perch ale
2x sting, weapon of heritage
2x mithril coat, dwarf mail
1x salt from the shire
1x sam's pack
2x vilya
2x clever hobbits
2x power according to his stature
1x pallando, far travelling one
1x rohirrim doorwarden
Shadow side: 3x witch king, black lord(might switch hom but pairs nicely with surrounded by wraiths)
2x ulaire Cantea, Black assassin(crowd control)
2x ulaire Cantea, Thrall of the one(some possession discard maybe?)
4x Ulaire Nelya, third of the nine riders(for site control etc)
4x Ulaire Nertea, Black Horseman(great against mono culture)
2x Ulaire Otsea, seventh of the nine riders
2x Ulaire Otsea, Thrall of the one
1x Ulaire Toldea, Thrall of the one
2x Ships of great Draught (anti madril)
2x All life flees(to discard annoying pallando, far travelling one)
1x return to its master(element of surprise)
3x moving this way
3x shapes slowly advancing
2x surrounded by wraiths
I believe shadow site could use some tinkering :S Until now this deck goes undefeated though I have not played until now with decks I think are dangerous(etc troll-swarm or orkish scout swarm, heavy archery etc).

I played against a variant of this used by Everett that was pretty effective (he won). Here's the game:

It turned out to be a modified Horn Filter, in that once he got Sam loaded up with possessions, he spotted some Hobbit Allies to play New Chapter, and busted out with the rest of his many followers. After that, the rest of his companions were expendable.

Hmmm, I've seen the replay and true Everett did a good job :) I've played another variation of him with some elf allies too. What I didn't like about it was that it had 2 many cards for me and it added 2 much pool for my tastes... But hey if it works for him the better!!! :0

You say it as if adding pool is bad!? :O The more pool you can add and survive the better! :D xaxa
