I think I may already know the answer, but just to make sure,
When playing multiplayers, can 2 shadow people have the same unique card? Such as Card 1U188 The long Dark. Basically if I have 3 people playing, can 2 or all 3 of us have this card in our support areas? Only 1 being active at a time?

You can only have one copy of a unique card out at a time per deck. However that card can effect other peoples cards, not just your own.
Hope this helps.

I understand that I can only have 1 unique card in play at a time.
Here is an example to hopefully give more clarity to my question.
Player A is the Free Peoples.
Player B & C are the Shadows. Could they both have this card? But only 1 would effect the Free Peoples?
Then Player B becomes Free Peoples, and Player A & C are Shadows. Still only 1 would still be in play, since Player A doesn't have this card?
Hopefully this clarifies my question.

If two unique Shadow conditions end up in play at the same time, only the first one to the FP's right is active. And the only way this can happen is if:
Player A is the FP player.
Player B plays a unique Shadow condition.
Player C would like to play one too, but he can't because Player B's condition is active.
Next turn, player B is the FP, so his condition is inactive. Player C can now play his copy of the unique condition.
When it is Player A's turn again, both of the unique conditions are now in play, but only the first one to his right is active.

Thanks for the clarification.
