Title: For those of us who hated the hobbit movies

He cut all 3 moves down to one ~4 hour movie. I have yet to watch it, but the changes he describes look good. Thoughts?

Agreed on Tauriel. That and the lake-town crap was probably the best cuts. I should also mention that the current download locations will probably be killed soon, if you want it and can't get it from the provided link, PM me :)

He's actually working on a separate movie that follows this plot. He doesn't yet have all the scenes and its over 80 minutes long. He claims that if flows pretty well as a standalone movie. Overall, I think it should work better on its own.

I know what you mean. I've already bought the first two movies and plan to buy the third, so I already own the content. It's just now rearranged a little :)

The only problem is that would involve be actually spending money on them, which I am not prepared to do.
