I would like to know what is the general favorite player count in LOTRTCG. My personal favorite is 3 players because the shadow players do not usually run out of minions and let the free peoples have a free move. The only problem I have though, is I find it is really hard to win a shadow victory.

Definitely two. Whilst it can be frustrating if a bad draw really let's you down when your opponent doubles to 9, the ability to play recklessly is just so much more fun for a game. Choke is so boring, but it's almost crucial in multiplayer.

There are defenately pros and cons to both. I think most of us would agree 4 players is not a good option at all. It gives the opponents way too many minions and it would be pratically impossible to win with shadow. I would probably hate 3 players on gemp. Cheap teaming would definately occur. I still like 2 and 3 players. And yes, choke has annoyed me several times when my opponent uses rohan with Gandalf's Wisdom and Gamling, Warrior of Rohan. I would play all player counts, but I will enjoy 4+ a lot less.

3 IRL, 2 on Gemp. Cards like Goblin Armory would be a nightmare in multiplayer
