I'm thinking alot about DCs and 2E and so on the last days.
I'm not going to reveal alot all to soon, but I'm working on it.
So this is my take on a Ring. Pardon, The Ring. :uh-huh:
Let me know what y'all think about it.
•The One Ring, A Waking Power [Ring]
Strength +2; Mettle +1
Maneuver: Discard a card from hand to make the bearer wear The One Ring until the regroup phase.
While wearing The One Ring, each time the Ring-bearer is about to take a wound, add 2 burdens instead. Then, if the Shadow has the initiative, draw a card.
"'...when he washed the mud away, there in his hand lay a beautiful golden ring...'"
So I made it use the mettle stud ??? -> information for that, please read menace's thread: http://lotrtcgwiki.com/forums/index.php/topic,11355.msg94632.html
It plays a bit with initiative, the cost for it is discarding from hand instead of exering, adding burdens etc.
I'm not sure, whether it is to strong (-> make his boostes weaker)or underpowered. What do you think? :-k
And, oh my god am I lucky my mother is english teacher. I'd have had no idea how to get hands on an english version of LotR (as well as The Hobbit and Silmarillion) [-o< [-o<
