Title: Council of the Ring - Gathering a 2E Design Team
Post by: Hobbiton Lad on July 23, 2019, 09:04:57 AM: If you are actually interested in designing cards for Second Edition, please throw your hat in the ring here. I will likely make a private Facebook group (or message group) so we can design cards within our small team and actually have some element of surprise/anticipation within the community for what we are doing.

What I want to say is that I might not be able to be any leading part atm but I'd like to help as much as I can.

There is definitely room to introduce new card types from a theoretical perspective, but it all comes down to what Marcin can make work within the GEMP infrastructure.

Post by: Phallen Cassidy on June 18, 2020, 05:55:07 AM: I'm a little late, but basically there were some disagreements about direction and the lead stepped out. Project sputtered out, but the results are currently on gemp as the format "Second Edition." Half the cards are in a new template and half of them are in the classic one, and there are outstanding balance issues. I imagine it'll be removed from the deckbuilder eventually just as the first attempt at a total reset was.
