Title: Players Council Tournament Report - Noble Leaders Threat Nazguls
Post by: cleston on October 26, 2020, 08:14:40 AM
Hey guys, long time lurker, first time poster :)

I recently rejoined the game due to the pandemic and working from home. This weekend I was glad to play the Player's Council Expanded Tournament on Gemp and I'm glad to share some replays. I managed to get 4th place finishing 16-4 with Noble Leaders and Threat Nazguls.

I haven't played a single game of expanded before this tournament, and I actually had quit the game when hunters was released back in the day, so most of the new cards were in fact new to me, and the meta game of path abuse was also relatively new.

I have to thank my local community for pointing out the relevance of wounding shadows on the metagame and for narrowing down the shadow options :) I eventually settled on threat nazguls because i really enjoying playing it, and after the tournament ended i was under the impression that it was not really good, but after checking my replays to create this spreadsheet i was actally really surprised with the amount of games it won me. Spoiler: most of my wins were due to the shadow side, rather than the free people.

I will soon post a video on my youtube channel about this deck, and I'll make sure to list it here as well, but |I must warn you it will be in portuguese :D

Tks for reading, hope you enjoy it and hope it encourages more people to share their replays and decklists so we get a stronger knowledge about the metagame :)
