I'm a YouTuber/podcaster (172k subs just so you know I take it seriously), and I'm starting a new podcast called OBSESSED where I investigate the stories of hobbies/lifestyles/careers that inspire obsession. I've become obsessed with this game over the past few weeks (despite only getting ~35th in the invitational--haha), but I want to investigate it more and tell the story with interviews.
I'm looking for someone who knows the history of the game; someone who's been playing since it started; the guy/gal who designed the Gemp website; someone who has spent more than $1,000 on the cards; someone who worked at Decipher; and anyone who has any great, funny, or inspiring stories about this game or how it changed/influenced their lives. My email is jugglingcliff@gmail.com if you're interested and have 15 minutes to spare.

I first played the game on Gemp so I don't think I'm what you're looking for. I can direct you towards the site's creator though: Marcin's email is under the "Contribute" tab of Gemp. And you shouldn't have too much trouble finding a few people who can fit into several of those other categories, haha. An ex-Decipher employee would probably be the hardest, but there are some former volunteers around.

I've been playing since the beginning. I don't know that I would call myself "obsessed" but I definitely know a lot of the history and was an active player through the game's entire commercial timeline.

Thank you both for your replies! I may reach out soon!

Alò, I am playing this marvalous, strategic game almost since its start and I'm so obsessed by it that I consider it to be the cleverest game ever thought in ages: friends o' mine and me used to play its paper version and I scored fifth during Lucca comix italian tournament around 2005, now I stream matches on my twitch channel (https://www.twitch.tv/sibiatu (https://www.twitch.tv/sibiatu)) thanks to Marcins' gempukku's site (whom and which I'd like to help with) because real cards no longer survived after decipher loss. Where do we find your you tube space ? We do thank you for your interesting idea : )

alò, nothing more ?
