With Christmas coming up, I was curious what everyone thought about the different ways to say Merry Christmas. If you're up to it, please explain why you chose what you did.
Also if there is an option I forgot, please let me know.

I chose Merry Christmas because it has Christ in it, which is the reason I celebrate Christmas.

'Happy holidays' is what I tend to go for. I can't say whether a person is celebrating Christmas or Chanukah or Kwanzaa or Yalda or Yule or something else, so I am not going to offend someone's sensibilities on a lark. I'll often just skip to, something New Year related since everyone experiences the turn from December to January (though some cultures do celebrate their new year at different points in January and beyond). Something like, "Have a happy New Year!" is probably as common for me as "happy holidays."
I recognize that Christmas is what it is in the Christo-centric western culture, but the reality of the holiday to me is that it is wildly consumeristic and mildly depressing. I find the holiday season tends to bring out the worst in people, and everywhere you go [in a pre-pandemic time] is rife with trees slowly dying.

Shouldn't "Pippin Christmas" be an option? Or is it because he's the short one?

Of course! How could I have forgotten?
