Yes. Starting companions count towards deck size. Ringbearer and ring do not.

If I've counted right, your deck is 39 cards, which seems a little big. I'd cut some support cards to add some more companions.

Thorongil and Ranger's Longbow would be nice. I don't like Mighty Shot. Weapons of Lothlorien is better.

4x Elven Bow and 4x Sword of The Fallen is probably too many possessions with so few companions.

In saying all of that though, I am not experienced with Hunters block as format and your deck could probably do very well as is.

I thought about Thorongil, but it would be the obvious choice at this moment. But he is definitely an option, if Glorfindel does not work out as he should.

Deck size could be an issue, but I built in several cycling cards, so I hope that size will not be an issue. It would be great to have a well-cycling shadow side for this deck though.

The starting fellowship is my core companion part. I want to draw legolas early. Hence the many copies. Glorfindel is more like a beat-stick, if things get too rough for the archers to handle.

That being said, I have hardly any experience with hunters block only games, so we have to see how things turn out.

If you see your own fellowship and think about the possibilities in Hunters, I would most definately add more Rider's Gear. And the last note about you not bragging made me sad....It is sad that you worked so hard to collect all these rares but who plays Hunterblock anyway?...Just kidding, nice effort.

No worries! I now only play with a buddy of mine every couple of months or so, anyway! I wouldn't have the time for more in any case.

I will make it 3x feral ride / 3x rider's gear and see what happens ;)
