Cut one of the Mouth of Sauron as you need Saruman, SoS out first.

Westfarthing Businessman and Great Elf Warrior seem like better options to start. Prized Lagan is a strong but cheap as #$&*@! card. Scouring of the Shire will protect your A Promise setup, and with Make a Run For It (retarded combo with scouring by the way), you can cancel nasty fights.

Well I'm not looking to keep Pippin alive for long, he's there to protect me before everything is set up.  Westfarthing Businessman seems to be a character who should stay through out  the game which I don't want to do.  Also the entire purpose of using Steadfast Friend was to increase Frodo's resistance to keep him alive with the ring.  And I'm not sure whether the +2 strength (once Pippin's gone) will be worth it.  Also the main card I use to cancel nasty fights is Crouched down which works almost 80% of the time as Frodo can have up to 16 resistance.  I can try it though.  Also what did you mean I need Saruman out first?  And to keep from getting slaughtered by those fierce minions I have Mithril Coat, Dwarf Mail

You can't cancel the RB's skirmish

And keep winning, to add insult to injury, which means your opponents also keep forgetting that! ;)

Wait, what?

You mention you won a couple matches with the deck, but didn't remember you can't cancel the RB skirmishes. Also, you gave information regarding the fact that you HAVE done it. So, basically, it means you "cheated", even if by accident, which also means that your opponents werent paying enough attention or didn't know the rules well enough, since they "fell for it". And then I finished with "wink wink".
