I'm not really getting the shadow. I like the idea of gollum/easterling but 4x gathering to the summons doesn't seem like a good way to add burdens. I would definitely put in some copys of the polearm and the condition that gets you to 2 burdens.

GttS can be a very important card if you're playing against an entirely ring-bound deck. I do like both Small Hope and Surging Up too.
