Title: Rebirth?
Post by: simplegarak on September 11, 2015, 01:43:19 PM
Well we're trying it.  My friend and I were big fans of the LotR engine, so for the last year we've been attempting to adapt and update it to the LCG model as well as expand it beyond just the world of Tolkien.

To that end, we started with bringing the Iliad and the Wonderful Wizard of Oz to life.  If you loved playing Decipher's LotR and think you'd enjoy playing it with more characters and wider worlds we're on Kickstarter right now (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/294557164/the-heroes-journey-a-new-card-game). We call it The Heroes' Journey, and we just need backers to help finish the artwork, pay for the printing, and stuff like that.

We've also got the rulebook on our website (http://epicusliterati.wordpress.com/), and if enough of you show interest, I can put up a formal "adaption" guide for blending the two games together (though obviously we've learned from some of Decipher's mistakes and tried to start out with a reduced power curve so don't take any early stuff against a top Expanded deck lol).

Where do most of the content in this site come from? Is it possible to share the data?
