Title: No Mana. That's right. 0 Mana
Post by: SomeRandomDude on October 08, 2008, 07:48:30 AM
// Deck file for Magic Workstation (http://www.magicworkstation.com)

// Creatures
    4 [A] Nether Shadow
    4 [PLC] Phantasmagorian
    4 [JU] Sutured Ghoul
    4 [RAV] Stinkweed Imp
    4 [TO] Ichorid
    4 [FUT] Narcomoeba
    4 [FUT] Street Wraith
    4 [RAV] Flame-Kin Zealot
    4 [RAV] Golgari Grave-Troll

// Spells
    4 [CS] Mishra's Bauble
    4 [JU] Cabal Therapy
    4 [GP] Leyline of the Void
    4 [TSP] Dread Return
    4 [MR] Chalice of the Void
    4 [FUT] Bridge from Below

The point is to dredge like crazy and get all your stuff into the graveyard. Leyline of the Void is awesome for starting with, as it makes Bridge from Below rock. The rest of the stuff is dredge kinda stuff, and you can flashback Dread Return for either Zealot or Golgari Grave-Troll, or both., if you have enough creatures, obvious combo with Bridge from Below for an army of 3/3 Zombie beaters w00t!

The biggest problem I have is getting cards into the graveyard for dredge stuff. Any good legacy ways to discard stuff for free? Bazaar of Baghdad I know is the crux of Ichorid in Vintage...

Yes. Putrid Imp, Tolarian Winds, and the grand winner, Breakthrough. Also, Manaless Ichorid is supposed to actually be a combo deck, so you only need about 2 Zealots (seriously, I played with one), since only one coming into play is enough to win you the game. I also believe some moxes can be played in Legacy (at least Chrome Mox and Mox Diamond, from what I've gathered), you might want to take a look at it.

But they're mana. :D I'm looking for something mana-less.

I may have to take it to Vintage and run Bazaar of Baghdad.

THEN you'd be screwed. Oh, and Lion's Eye Diamond also works. Oh, yeah, mana again.

Ya...but see I can eat the mana burn. So it might work.

I also played for a while with Magus of the Bazaar.
