Well, I love Killer Boromir, but I made a deck with a "wounding roaming minions" twist, maybe you'll want to take a look look at it to get some ideas (my favourite deck and my best one I think):

Oh, and read the comments by NB, since he helped me with some things that aren't on the original post.

I've been working on a variation on legolas's deck, except that I'm currently using Gimli as RB. You can get his resistance up to 9 pretty easy just by playing (mostly) cheap possessions on him, and with his Gimli's Helm and Dwarven Armor, you have a ringbearer who only takes 1 wound, and can't be overwhelmed unless he faces something like... 30 strength?

My other starting guys are the same, DH and Strider. There are NO other companions in the deck, which was the objective I was going for. I have mixed feelings about Strider, I hate adding that one extra twilight every time. Now thinking about Gondorian Prowler instead... but will probably stick with Strider. Thoughts?

My minion side is basically a crap ton of "onesies" (minions that cost 1), coupled with some Teeth of Mordor, some Siege Troop,  and some Sauron. Just when you think it's weak-arse swarm... BAM Sauron and Siege Troop!!!
