Pretty decent tho I wouldnt play the balrogs toys. Odds are they will be blanks in your hand cause you draw them too early/late.

I'd actually consider losing the Balrog-related cards altogether (except him, of course) and simply move into other useful stuff, like Spies of Mordor and exerto-to-wound minions.

You could run one of each of the Balrog's weapons, discard them, and pack a copy or two of Relics of Moria to grab them at site 5...

They are artifacts, not posessions.

And I agree, ditch the hogstuff and play cards that do something. I usually play 4 of each tracker in such a deck, as well as a few memory of many things.

Memory of many things probably would be more useful than Tower Assassin, although he can be nice for playing Hate.

Don't dis the Balrog's toys guys, where else but in Fellowship block would you ever use them? - nowhere.. And they are probably the two coolest looking promos of the lot. :P

Well, I usually dont play cards cause they look cool. If it was a dedicated Balrogdeck, I could consider it, but in a trackerdeck its usually dead meat.

Sometimes they are dead meat, most of the time actually, but when you can gear him up with a sword and whip make it worth while putting them in for me. Also people don't usually expect it, besides stealth events, Armor is usually the most common way of negating the balrog, and the whip stops that. Sometimes they're prepared for a 17 strength rog, 20 strength has got the overwhelm for me a few times.

I have never tried a dedicated balrog deck in fotr.. Is it feasable with only two underground sites..?

Not really, its more possible in TS or Movie cause of the Ents hog.

And a str 20 balrog still get stealth, or he kills 1 companion. Trust me, I played many tourneys in the FOTR days, but Balrogs toys usually dont cut it. Simply becasue of the HUGE amount of stealth.
