It's also fairly easy to play [[lotr01182|Goblin Spear]] on this minion because of the [moria] culture's methods of weapon retrieval (Goblin Scavengers and Relics of Moria). On the other hand, the strength of this minion leaves much to be desired, and it is vulnerable to archery (Especially Greenleaf and Aragorn's Bow). There are also many other effects that can counter this minion, such as skirmish cancelling effects (Gandalf's Staff, Hobbit Stealth and Hobbit Intuition), Damage nullifiers (Mithril Coat, Gimli's Helm and Armor) and skirmish wounding (Blade of Gondor, Power According to His Stature).
