| − | Elrond, Lord of Rivendell is the ultimate card drawing mechanism in Lord of the Rings. When played, Elrond, Lord of Rivendell can draw three cards via his !exertion ability, and, combined with his healing ability at least one card per subsequent turn. Elrond comes with a spotting requirement--Gandalf or an Elf--but with the predominance of Arwen, Daughter of Elrond, Legolas, Greenleaf, and Gandalf in Fellowship block, Elrond quickly became one of the most played cards.
