− | ====== Morgul Warden (1R259) Wiki ======
| |
− | | |
− | ===== General Strategy =====
| |
− | | |
− | Like the Ancient Chieftain of [Moria] and Uruk Lieutenant of [Isengard], Morgul Warden is a minion who gets stronger with company. An otherwise generic !strength 9, !vitality 3 minion, Morgul Warden is somewhat limited by uniqueness in a deck that might focus on a swarm. That said, in a well-played [Sauron] swarm (using the Battle of Helms Deep expansion trackers and a copy of Forces of Mordor), Morgul Warden can become a potent minion.
| |
− | | |
− | The more expensive Morgul Hunter tends to be a more popular deck filler than Morgul Warden, being neither limited by uniqueness or the !strength of the minion "army" in play, and featuring one more !vitality.
| |
− | | |
− | ===== Strengths and Weaknesses =====
| |
− | | |
− | === Strong Versus... ===
| |
− | | |
− | * Three vitality [Sauron] Orc for conditions such as Desperate Defense of the Ring or Thin and Stretched
| |
− | * Plays best with [Sauron] tracker swarm, particularly at Tol Brandir
| |
− | | |
− | === Weak Versus... ===
| |
− | | |
− | * Directed wounding, such as Legolas, Greenleaf
| |
− | * Stand Against Darkness
| |
− | * Unique minion in culture prone to hand clog
| |
− | * A small swarm, where smaller minions are killed before focusing on this minion
