Ferocity is the most versatile Uruk-hai strength pump, after Savagery to Match Their Numbers (which is X-Listed in most formats). As such it is a common choice for post-Fellowship Block Uruk-hai decks. With a twilight cost of 0 (Which is always desirable for shadow events) and having no additional requirements (Unlike Bred for Battle or Still they Came), Ferocity is a solid addition to uruk beatdown strategies. Note that it affects [sauron] and [uruk-hai] uruks as well, although [uruk-hai] uruks, being released much later on, usually have better options.

* Direct wounding/archery

* Skirmish cancelling

* Dauntless Hunter and hobbits, which greatly hinders the card's versatility. This can be counteracted by Saruman's Ambition however.

* Faramir, Son of Denethor (blocks you from playing any skirmish event during his skirmishes).

* Extremely powerful strength changers, such as Forearmed or Cirdan.
