General Strategy

The last [Elven] Tale released, !Alliance Reforged gives the Free Peoples player a bigger hand to work with at a somewhat noteworthy twilight cost. Because it is a fellowship phase event it is limited by The Rule of Four. While it can help dig for key cards, one should remember that [3] is often enough to play an extra minion and gauge whether the potential advantage is worth the risk.

Strong Versus...

 * Songs of the Blessed Realm
 * [Elven] Fellowships which require a significant card advantage
 * A strong Fellowship, which can shrug off the extra potential danger while preparing a more fearsome hand of Shadow cards
 * Strategies which use cards from hand as a resource, such as Arwen, Echo of Luthien, Desperate Defense of the Ring, and Streaming to the Field
 * A last-ditch effort to prepare for a Shadow victory
